Girls Islamic Organization is a girl’s student organization in Kerala. It was founded on 5th March of 1984. The organization functions as a girls’ student wing of Jama’athe Islami Kerala. The organization aims to strengthen female students and young women and creatively engage and participate on campuses and the general public, addressing the individual and social issues that girls face. GIO also aims to provide adequate training to future generations by emphasizing Islamic and modern education to produce a bright future generation who creatively engages in society.
